| Barack’s Obama’s silence on his longtime minister and mentor’s support of Louis Farrakhan speaks volumes.
Obama’s minister, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., was quoted in the November/December issue of his church’s magazine, Trumpet, heaping praise on Farrakhan.
“When Minister Farrakhan speaks, Black America listens,” Wright said in the article. “His depth on analysis [sic] when it comes to the racial ills of this nation is astounding and eye-opening. He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest.”

| | Farrakhan is a racist. NOI stands for racism and bias against non-blacks. I find it very disturbing that Obama havent condemned Farrakhan and his group. Because this guy (Farrakhan) is really a black supermacist, just like Mugabe for example. There is black racists too. |

Greetings Eagle88,
Farrakhan is absolutely a racist, as is the Nation of Islam terrorist cult. Neither should be tolerated in modern day American society.
It is interesting to note that since I posted this topic it has become a hot button issue on the campaign trail. I'm quite surprised that the issue was given as much notice as it has been by the mainstream press. This is obviously a positive. Sen. Obama should continue to distance himself from such people, and speak about this to the general public. Regardless of whom we all intend to vote for, this is shaping up to be an interesting campaign. |
